Hardeep is an elementary school Educator, former Early Reading Coach with the Toronto District School Board, and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto. 

Hardeep's debut book follows the story of 'Manmeet Kaur' whose family are directly impacted by the harrowing violence orchestrated by the State of India in 1984. The narrative covers how she endures the pain and trauma of the genocide but also points towards the important path of resilience and healing. 

Complete with full colour double-spread illustration by Brazil based illustrator Ana Nicolau, this book will be a fantastic resource for young persons aged 11+ as well as parents, caregivers and schools who are dedicated to raising awareness and education about the Sikh Genocide.
